Mischief Missives

Everyone—man and woman—should read this. I get told a lot to “just not engage” men who speak to me. But I also know from experience that “not engaging” doesn’t placate the situation when someone is sexually harassing me on public transit, in a grocery store, or in any of the other places where, every single day, someone has something to say to me.

And then I debated whether or not to put it on Tumblr…but I decided it was important. Because in my own way, I can (unfortunately) point out exactly what is wrong with men when they don’t realize how hard it is to be a woman. How we do not have equal opportunities and freedoms in everyday life….
